Generous Bedroom Storage with Matching Timber-Framed Mirror
Six spacious drawers and a large matching mirror make the Jamaica Lowboy and Mirror a practical addition to bedrooms requiring plenty of storage and a dedicated dressing area. The drawers are arranged in two columns of three, providing separate compartments for folded clothing, bedding, accessories and other personal belongings. Each drawer offers generous internal space for organising everyday items and bulkier garments, while the wide 1.4m top provides ample room for jewellery, fragrances, grooming products and decorative accessories. The accompanying rectangular mirror sits above the lowboy, creating a convenient space for getting ready without requiring a separate dressing table.
Constructed from solid New Zealand pine, the lowboy features substantial timber framing, sturdy drawer fronts and solid wood tongue and groove back panelling for additional structural strength. All six drawers are fitted with full-extension metal runners, allowing them to slide smoothly outward and provide easy access to the entire drawer interior. Dark curved metal handles offer a comfortable grip and contrast with the natural timber finish. The thick, slightly overhanging top, framed drawer arrangement and solid plinth base contribute to the unit's sturdy construction, while the mirror features a substantial wooden frame with upright posts and decorative capped ends.
A warm Rimu-stained finish brings out the pine's distinctive grain patterns, knots and natural colour variations, giving the furniture a rich timber appearance. The matching mirror frame carries through the same finish and traditional detailing, providing a consistent look across both pieces. The lowboy's generous width makes it particularly suitable for main bedrooms and shared clothing storage, while the mirror adds functionality without occupying additional floor space. Its combination of natural timber, dark metal hardware and substantial proportions works well with traditional, rustic and modern country bedroom furnishings.
Mirror requires attachment to the lowboy with the included braces (with pre-drilled guide holes) and screws.
