Make Room for Everyone at the Table
Add flexible seating to your dining room, hallway or entranceway with the Vienna 1.44m Oak Bench Seat. Measuring 144cm in length, this wooden bench provides ample room for multiple people without taking up as much floor space as individual dining chairs. Crafted from white oak with a natural oiled finish, the seat displays distinctive timber grain, knots and subtle colour variations throughout its surface. The rectangular top features a framed border with softly rounded edges, while the open, backless design allows the bench to be positioned against a wall, alongside a dining table or wherever additional seating is needed.
The solid oak seating surface is supported by four substantial square legs, connected by a sturdy wooden apron running beneath the length of the bench. This construction helps distribute weight across the frame and provides the structural support needed for regular use. The wide seating area comfortably accommodates several children or approximately two to three adults, depending on seating preferences, making it particularly useful for family dining and larger gatherings. Without a backrest or armrests, the bench can also be tucked beneath a suitable dining table when not in use, helping maximise the available space around your dining area.
The natural oiled finish enhances the texture and individual grain patterns of the white oak, bringing out the character of the timber across both the seat and supporting frame. Its straightforward rectangular design makes it easy to coordinate with existing oak dining tables, while the generous length provides a practical seating option for hallways and entranceways. Positioned near the front door, the bench offers somewhere to sit while putting on shoes, with plenty of open space underneath for keeping footwear organised. The sturdy wooden construction and versatile proportions make it equally suitable for everyday family meals, occasional seating or use at the foot of a bed.
