Space-Saving Square Design With 400mm Of Extra Tabletop Length
The Dakota Square Oak Butterfly Extending Table offers a practical solution for dining areas where space is limited but a larger table is occasionally needed. Measuring 900mm in its compact square configuration, the tabletop extends to 1300mm in length, providing an additional 400mm of dining surface. Its integrated butterfly extension folds and stores beneath the tabletop, keeping the extra leaf conveniently tucked away when not required. The extension mechanism allows the table to change from a square to a rectangular shape without needing to store any loose panels separately.
The tabletop features a warm oak finish with clearly defined wood grain, natural colour variations and occasional knots that give the timber its characteristic appearance. Smoothly rounded corners and softly finished edges provide a neat, comfortable surface, while the thick tabletop profile complements the table's robust construction. Four substantial square timber legs support the table, with a solid apron running underneath the edges to reinforce the frame and maintain its traditional country-style appearance.
At 900mm, the square tabletop provides a comfortable setting for four while keeping the overall footprint manageable in kitchens, dining rooms and smaller open-plan spaces. Extending to 1.3 metres creates additional room for serving dishes, tableware and more flexible seating arrangements. The straightforward design and natural oak colouring work particularly well with wooden dining chairs, making this a practical option for both traditional and more contemporary interiors.
Table requires simple 10-15 minute assembly.
