The Boston Oak Extending Dining Table combines solid American oak construction with a practical extending design, offering additional dining space whenever it's needed. Finished in a warm, natural oak tone throughout, the table showcases the timber's distinctive grain, knots and character across its generous rectangular top and sturdy frame. Softly rounded tabletop edges and elegantly turned, tapered legs give it a traditional appearance that complements both rustic and contemporary dining spaces.
Designed for flexibility, the Boston Oak Extending Dining Table measures 1.4 metres in its standard configuration and extends to 1.8 metres when additional seating is required. A built-in butterfly extension folds neatly beneath the tabletop when not in use, eliminating the need to store a separate extension leaf. Sturdy metal hinges and securing clips help keep the extended section firmly positioned, providing an additional 400mm of dining space for larger meals, serving dishes and extra guests.
Built with strength and everyday durability in mind, the table features substantial timber framing and reinforced corner bracing beneath the tabletop. Strong through-bolts securely fasten the legs to the frame, helping minimise unwanted movement and maintain structural stability in both configurations. The tapered legs provide generous clearance for comfortable seating, while the smooth oak surface is easy to maintain. Accommodating up to six people when extended, the Boston Oak Extending Dining Table provides a practical balance of everyday proportions and additional dining capacity.
Table requires approximately 10 minutes of assembly. Simply attach the four legs to the tabletop frame using the supplied bolts.
